(n) Forensic medicine is the section of medicine which studies, practice medical aspects related the determination of a legal issue. Eg.

forensic medicine
n. research, reports and testimony in court by experts in medical science to assist in determining a legal question. Cause of death is a common issue determined by pathologists who may be coroners or medical examiners.

MEDICAL JURISPRUDENCE, or Forensic Medicine, that branch of state medicine which treats of the application of medical knowledge to certain questions of civil and criminal law.
