INDEFEASIBLE
A right or title in property that cannot be made void, defeated or canceled by any past event, error or omission in the title.

indefeasible
adj. cannot be altered or voided, usually in reference to an interest in real property.

INDEFEASIBLE. That which cannot be defeated or undone. This epithet is usually applied to an estate or right which cannot be defeated.
INDEFENSUS. One sued or impleaded, who refuses or has nothing to answer.

Certificate of Indefeasible Title:
Certificate obtained from land titles office indicating title, charges and encumbrances against a particular piece of property. The certificate is conclusive evidence of title.

In the Torrens system, a land title certificate suffices to show full, valid and indefeasible title. Used in Australia and several Canadian provinces. TOP Tort : Derived from the Latin word tortus which meant wrong.

An heir apparent (Lat. apparens, manifest) is he whose right of inheritance is indefeasible, provided he outlives the ancestor, e.g. an eldest or only son.
