judge pro tempore - A lawyer appointed by the Utah Supreme Court to sit temporarily as a judge. A judge pro tempore has all the authority of a regularly appointed judge.
judgment - The official decision of a court disposing of a case.

judge pro tem A temporary judge appointed for a particular day or to hear a particular matter; may be a lawyer, court commissioner, or retired judge.
judge, visiting A superior court judge from another county.

the examination of facts and law presided over by a judge (or other magistrate, such as a commissioner or judge pro tem) with authority to hear the matter (jurisdiction).

An elected or appointed public official with authority to hear and decide cases in a court of law. A judge Pro Tem is a temporary judge.
