Judicial review is the doctrine in democratic theory under which legislative and executive actions are subject to review, and possible invalidation, by the judiciary.

Judicial Review:
When a court decision is appealed, it is known as an "appeal.

Judicial Review - Where no right of appeal is given, it may be possible to challenge the decision of an inferior court or public tribunal by recourse to the supervisory jurisdiction of the High Court.

Court Of International Trade A U.S. federal court that provides judicial review of civil actions arising out of import transactions and federal laws concerning international trade matters. Formerly called the U.S. Customs Court.

A final order is issued by either an ALJ or a DSHS review judge, depending on the type of case. A final order may be reconsidered upon written request and may be appealed to Superior Court (called judicial review) upon written request.

An adverse ruling issued by a support magistrate may not be appealed directly. Instead, the party seeking judicial review must file objections. Support magistrates were formerly known as hearing examiners.
