Sub Judice definition:
Latin: under judicial consideration.
A matter that is still under consideration by a court; still subject to active litigation.
Politicians will decline to speak on a certain subject because the subject matter is sub judice.

 


The sub judice rule prevents MPs or Lords from referring to a current or impending court case.
