Availability: A broadcast time period that is open for reservation by an advertiser in response to an advertiser's or agency's initial inquiry (slang "avail").

 


availability - A specific time period offered for sale by a station or network.
average frequency - The number of times the average household reached by a media schedule is exposed to a media vehicle over a specified period.

Availability - Time on a station, cable channel or network which is offered for sale. Also know as an Avail.

Availability Advertising time on radio or television that is available for purchase, at a specific time.

geodemography The availability of demographic consumer behavior and life style data by arbitrary geographic boundaries that are typically quite small. For example, a library-designated service area of two census tracts (US).

What's bad is that their cost and availability is determined by local telephone companies, which means in some places they are available, in other places not; and sometimes they're cheap, and at other times wildly expensive.

Here’s an example: Recently a story broke in USA Today about declining summer labor availability.

Rate Card - The published rates and ad space availability for a particular media such as a web site. Usually subject to change and often negotiable. May also include technical details regarding the banner specifications.

Exclusive Distribution - restricting the availability of a product to one particular outlet.
Exclusive Sales Territory - a region in which a distributor has been given sole rights to a manufacturer's product.

Joint demand: where demand for one product or component in a B2B market is dependent on the supply or availability of another, for example a computer assembler's demand for casings might depend on the supply or availability of disk drives.

An important feature of a one time offer is that its limited availability is made absolutely clear to the customer. If it isn't made clear it won't work.
