Census Tract - A small, relatively permanent statistical subdivision of a county established by the U.S. Census and designed to be homogenous with respect to population characteristics, economic status, and living conditions.
Census Tract: An area within a zip code containing between 2,500 and 8,000 residents. These areas are defined by the U.S. Census Bureau.
