Dependent Variables - the variables in a research experiment which are affected by manipulation of the explanatory or experimental variables. See Experimental Variables.

 


Multi-variate Techniques are forms of statistical analysis that are used where there are two or more dependent variables to be analyzed simultaneously.

A bias in statistical procedure due to the correlation of multiple independent variables that influence a single dependent variable.

Regression Model A computer site-selection model that develops a series of mathematical equations showing the association between potential store sales and various independent variables at each location under consideration.
