Ezine, short for electronic magazine, is a periodic publication on a certain niche topic posted on a website or a blog or distributed as email newsletter to confirmed subscribers .
There are free Ezines and paid Ezines.

Ezine - (Electronic magazine) Much like an offline newsletter, ezines exist primarily to deliver information to their readers. They support the costs of publishing by selling advertising.

Inactive links are links that are not clickable whereas active links can be clicked. Some article submission sites such as Ezinearticles.com specify that some links must be inactive to be accepted.
