FSI: Stands for Free Standing Insert; an FSI is a preprinted advertising message which is inserted into, print media unbound. These are most commonly found in newspapers.

 


FSI Free Standing Insert. Usually a coupon or other promotion found in a magazine or newspaper. The least expensive way to distribute coupons. Flat file Another name for a sequential name file.

Free-Standing Inserts (FSI) - Here coupon placement occurs loosely (i.e., inserted) within media, such as newspapers and direct mail, and may or may not require the customer to cut away from other material in order to use.

Free-standing inserts (FSI) - An advertisement in a print publication which is not bound and separated by any editorial. FSI's are typically distributed with newspapers, magazines, and catalogs.
