Keyword density
A measure of the number of times keywords occur within a web page's text divided by the total number of words on a web page. Search engines have unique algorithms for calculating keyword density.

Keyword Density
This relates to the number of times a keyword/key phrases appear on a webpage. This divided by the total number of words that appear on a page gives you a percentage. The higher the better - but not too high.

Keyword density
The percentage of keywords and key phrases as compared to the total number of words. Keyword density is a factor in many search engine algorithms.

The frequency of repetition of a given keyword or phrase within body text on a web site. The higher the frequency (measured in percentages) the greater the likelihood of a higher ranking in search results.
