merchandisers
retail stores which sell finished, non-food items, four types of merchandisers (categorised on the basis of service, price and product line) can be identified - specialty stores (full-service, high-price, limited product line), ...

General Merchandisers - These retailers carry a wide range of product categories (i.e., broad width) though the number of different items within a particular product line is generally limited (i.e., shallow depth).

This approach is more effective than depending entirely on merchandisers.
Agents e.g. Avon Representatives. There are a number of different types of agents.

Almost all packaged products sold in supermarkets, mass merchandisers, discount chains, etc., fall within the FMCG definition. Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) is the term used in the U.S.
