What is PageRank (PR)?
An arbitrary rank given to a website by Google based on what it determines to be site authority, which appears to be improved by a site's age, traffic, inbound links from other authority sites and site quality.

PageRank
PageRank gives a ranking or score to every webpage on the Internet based on the number and quality of the page's backlinks, this score is a number out of 10 with 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest.

PageRank
A numeric value that represents how popular a web page is based on Google's link analysis calculations. Part of this numeric value is the quality and quantity of links pointing to a web page.

PageRankTM or PR: Google's patented method for measuring page importance on a scale from 0 - 10, where 10 is the highest. The PageRank algorithm analyzes the quality and quantity of links that point to a page.

Redirects are generally not good for search engine rankings, as they dilute PageRank. There is also the risk that the search engine spider will not follow your redirect.

In bound links are an aspect of the PageRank system that provides the google results.

The downside to using a 3rd party like Feedburner, is that the url is a FeedBurner url and any PageRank or popularity associated with the url will benefit the feed host rather than the feed creator.

Link Popularity
A measure of inbound links. Several search engines have included this factor into their algorithms, the most notable being Goggle with their trademarked PageRank.
