Prime time - The broadcast periods that reach the largest audiences and for which broadcasters charge the most for air time.
Product differentiation - The development of product uniqueness to increase demand.

PRIME TIME
The television time period each night that typically reaches the broadest number of TV viewers, generally 8-11 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 7-11 p.m. on Sunday.

Prime time The broadcast periods viewed or listened to by the greatest number of persons and for which a station charges the most for air time. In television, the hours are usually 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. E.S.T. (7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. C.S.T.).

A radio term for the morning and evening rush hour time slots. These are considered prime times for radio listeners.
