ROS:
ROS refers to (Run of Site); in certain instances the campaign is not targeted to a specific section on the publisher's site but is targeted to run across the site in any open position that is available.

 


ROS - Run of site (ROS) means a banner will appear anywhere on a web site as opposed to run of category (ROC) which would appear only on pages within a specific category.

ROS - Run Of Site - Where ads are rotated across the pages of a single site.

When advertisers buy an ROS package on a Web site, their ads will rotate throughout different sections of the site.

Run of Schedule (ROS) - An advertising term that refers to a commercial scheduled at the discretion of a station or cable system to run anywhere in the schedule.
