RSS feed content is generally read using a type of software known as an RSS Reader, also known as an aggregator. Readers for RSS feeds work by storing the URLs of the websites that the subscriber wants to follow.

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a method of publishing frequently updated works, such as blogs or news sites, in a standardized format. RSS readers are used to subscribe to an RSS feed.
