Biome Well-defined terrestrial environment (e.g., desert, tundra, or tropical forest). The complex of living organisms found in an ecological region.

biome- a major life zone containing interrelated plants and animals adapted to a particular climate and soil, which covers a large geographical area.

BIOMETEOROLOGY: The portion of the science of meteorology that deals with the effects of weather and climate on health and the human body.

However, because of the great variation in climate and moisture requirements, both between plants (biomes and agriculture) and human activities (e.g. domestic or industrial supply) no duration or definition is universally applicable.
