Bubble High - A mesoscale area of high pressure, typically associated with cooler air from the rainy downdraft area of a thunderstorm or a complex of thunderstorms.

Broken (BKN) An official sky cover classification for aviation weather observations, descriptive of a sky cover of 5/8 to 7/8.

BRN
(Bulk Richardson Number) A non-dimensional number relating vertical stability and vertical shear (generally, stability divided by shear).

Bulk Richardson Number (or BRN) - A non-dimensional number relating vertical stability and vertical shear (generally, stability divided by shear).

The number is derived by dividing CAPE by the half-square of the vertical wind shear in the lower 6 km of the atmosphere. The number is often abbreviated as BRN.
