CENTRIPETAL FORCE The force required to keep an object moving in a curved or circular path. It is directed inwards toward the center of the curved path.
Centripetal force An inward-directed force that confines an object to a circular path; equal in magnitude to the centrifugal force but in the opposite direction.
CENTRIPETAL FORCE - An apparent force that tends to move a mass to the inside of a turn. CHOKE - A carburetor control that enriches the air/fuel mixture for starting.
centrifugal forceA force directed outward, away from the center of a rotating object; equal in magnitude to the centripetal force but in the opposite direction.
This pressure gradient provides the centripetal force necessary for the circular motion of each parcel of water.
Low Pressure: In low pressure the winds are "Counter-Clock-Wise" (CCW) in the Northern Hemisphere. Move inwards center seeking. "Centripetal Force". LST: Local Standard Time.
