Meteorology Drainage windDrifts

Drifting snow Snow raised from the surface of the Earth by the wind to a height of less than 1.5 to 2.0 m above the surface. It dose not restrict horizontal visibility at 2.0 m or more above the surface.

DRIFTING SNOW Snow particles blown from the ground by the wind to a height of less than six feet.

Drifting Snow
An ensemble of snow particles raised by the wind to a small height above the ground. The visibility is not sensibly diminished at eye level.

DRIFTING SNOW - An uneven distribution of snowfall/snow depth caused by strong surface winds, but does not reduce surface visibility.

drifting snow—A type of hydrometeor composed of snow particles picked up from the surface, but carried to a height of less than 6 feet.

Drifting Snow - An uneven amount of snowfall or existing snow on the ground caused by strong winds. Drifting snow can be very dangerous for drivers.
Drizzle - Light rain consisting of water droplets that are very small.

Drifting snow- Uneven distribution of snowfall caused by strong surface winds. Drifting snow does not reduce visibility.
Dry Adiabat- A line of constant potential temperature on a thermodynamic chart.

Drifting snow: Snow lifted by the wind and carried to a height of less than 6 feet.
Drizzle: Precipitation composed of fine drops with diameters of less than 0.02 inch (0.5mm).

blowing snow - Snow lifted from the surface of the earth by the wind to a height of 2 m (6 ft) or more above the surface (higher than drifting snow), ...

When blizzard conditions are solely caused by blowing and drifting snow.
Ground Clutter ...

Ground Blizzard Warning: When blizzard conditions are solely caused by blowing and drifting snow.

Alberta Clipper: A fast moving winter storm originating in the Alberta, Canada region. Often these snow storms have high winds reaching 100 km/h which reduce visibility through blowing and drifting snow.

driven snow"Snow that has been moved by wind and collected into snowdrifts. A wind speed of about 13 mph will move light surface snow. In weather reports, snow lifted less than 6 ft above the surface is drifting snow, ...

Blowing Snow- Blowing snow is wind-driven snow that reduces surface visibility.Blowing snow can be falling snow or snow that has already accumulated but is picked up and blown by strong winds. Blowing snow is usually accompanied by drifting snow.

In this case, the most abundant greenhouse gas is water vapor.
Anthropogenic - Additional warming caused by having too much carbon dioxide (CO2).
Ground Blizzard Warning When blizzard conditions are solely caused by blowing and drifting snow.

Blowing snow is usually accompanied by drifting snow.Blowing Snow AdvisoryIssued when wind driven snow reduces surface visibility, possibly, hampering traveling.
