Gust Fronts resembles the passage of a cold front
A gust front is a boundary that separates a cold downdraft of a thunderstorm from warm, humid surface air. Its passage at the surface resembles a cold front.

Mesoscale winds are those which act on a local scale, such as gust fronts. At the smallest scale are the winds which blow on a scale of only tens to hundreds of metres and are essentially unpredictable, such as dust devils and microbursts.
The third type is the squall line composed of a line of convective clouds which share a common gust front along the leading edge (sometimes seen as a wall cloud).
