HEAT STROKE
Introduced to the body by overexposure to high temperatures, particularly when accompanied by high humidity.

Heat Stroke
A condition resulting from excessive exposure to intense heat, characterized by high fever, collapse, and sometimes convulsions or coma.
Heat Wave ...

Heat stroke is not as common, but very serious. If untreated, it will always result in death.

Heat stroke or sunstroke highly likely
Sunstroke, muscle cramps, and/or heat exhaustion likely
Sunstroke, muscle cramps, and/or heat exhaustion possible ...

Heat ExhaustionA mild form of heat stroke, characterized by faintness, dizziness, and heavy sweating.

Values in excess of 105°F (41°C) may be dangerous and even life-threatening, with severe heat exhaustion or heat stroke possible if the exposure is prolonged or physical activity is high.

Heat Stress Index
A four-step index, based on the Temperature-Humidity Index or "Humuture" Index expressing the likelihood of heat stroke, sunstroke, or other acute symptoms of bodily stress.

At certain levels, the human body cannot maintain proper internal temperatures and may experience heat stroke. The "Heat Index" is a measure of the effect of the combined elements on the body.
