Meteorology IrrigationIsentropic Lift

Isallobar
The line of equal change in atmospheric pressure during a certain time period. It marks the change in pressure tendency.
Isentropic lift ...

ISALLOBAR- A line of equal surface pressure change.
ISENTROPIC LIFT / DESCENT- Lifting or sinking of air along constant potential temperature (theta) surfaces.

The Isallobaric Wind
Thus far, all has been constant in time, and the winds are steady. Now we consider the case in which the pressure changes with time, and new winds are created.

Isallobars - lines of equal pressure change over a set period of time.
Isocold - a line you utter when you want to go inside.
Jet stream - fast moving, high elevation stream of wind.

anallobar"See isallobar.
anallobaric center"Same as pressure-rise center.

Isallobars: Lines drawn on a weather chart showing the places of equal changes of pressure.
Isobar:On a surface wether map lines of equal pressure.
Isoheight: A line connecting all points of the same elevation. Same as contour line.

It has a strong isallobaric component due to the pressure rise/fall pattern under the right exit/left exit region of the jet streak, respectively. It is usually at a significant angle with respect to the ULJ and has a strong southerly component.
