This LP storm did produce tornadoes -- two of them. The storm actually bordered between an LP and a classic supercell as it has a fairly large and intense radar echo (VIP 5), including a pendant.

Storms exhibiting these characteristics are often called classic supercells; however HP storms and LP storms are also supercell varieties.

Dry-line Storm - Generally, any thunderstorm that develops on or near a dry line. The term often is used synonymously with LP storm, since the latter almost always occurs near the dry line.

LP storms usually have a striking visual appearance with corkscrew or "barber-pole" striations on the updraft tower. LP supercell tornadoes are often un-obscured from viewing around the storm. Sometimes called LP'er.
