Special Marine Warning
A warning for hazardous weather conditions, usually short and not adequately covered by existing marine warnings. Such conditions include sustained winds or gusts of 35 knots or more for 2 hours or less.
Special Marine Warning- Issued for brief or sudden occurrence of sustained wind or frequent gusts of 34 knots or more. This is usually associated with severe thunderstorms or waterspouts.
SPECIAL MARINE WARNING - Special warning product from the National Weather Service regarding dangerous conditions for mariners usually caused by thunderstorms with winds at or above 35 Knots (38 MPH) or waterspout activity.
