Wind Chill Advisory- Issued when wind chill temperatures are expected to be 10 to 24F below zero for an extended period of time.
Wind Advisory Issued for sustained winds between 24 to 39 mph, or sustained winds of less than 25 miles per hour but frequent gusts between 25 and 39 miles per hour.

Wind Advisory- Issued for sustained winds 31 to 39 mph for at least 1 hour or any gusts 46 to 57 mph. However, winds of this magnitude occurring over an area that frequently experiences such winds would not require the issuance a wind advisory.
Wind Advisory - Issued for the occurrence of wind gusts between 40 and 57 mph for any duration.
Windward Side - The side of an object that is facing into the direction that the wind is coming from.
