Winter Storm Warning

Winter Storm Warning- Issued if the event will be entirely heavy snowfall.

Winter Storm Warning Issued when more than one type of hazardous winter weather is occurring, imminent, or highly likely over part or all of the forecast area.

Winter Storm Warning: This product is issued by the National Weather Service when a winter storm is producing very heavy snow. The criteria for this warning can vary from place to place.

Winter Storm Warning- Issued when 7 or more inches of snow or sleet is expected in the next 24 hours, or 1/2 inch or more of accretion of freezing rain is expected.
