Air brush

Apply primer to your bridge with a spray can or an air brush, making sure all exposed surfaces are covered. Let dry.
Step 4. Using a 50/50 mix of Iron Paint and water, apply the thinned Iron Paint to your bridge with an air brush.

You can air brush or hand paint the colors you need. Every piece of rolling stock on the layout except locomotives, cabooses, and cars captive in unit or passenger trains, needs a tack.

If you have a very steady hand, you could paint the center stripes and side stripes with white or yellow paint, or use a stencil to air brush the stripes.

I don't believe this rumor at all and I would not take any chances with my lungs. I either have a fan on and windows open or wear a high quality respirator (the same one that I use for air brushing).
