The manual bleed valves on the two main reservoirs are opened and any moisture that has accumulated is drained off.

Brake pipe angle cocks do not have bleed holes to drain hoses. AntiCreeper (US) A device firmly attached to the base of a rail and bearing against a crosstie (sleeper), to keep the rail from moving longitudinally under traffic.

Feed Back - The result when separate circuits are so wired that some of the current from one circuit bleeds into the other circuit.

The current limiting simply bleeds the charge off of the memory capacitor if the voltage across the 0.05 ohm resistor rises higher than the voltage at the plus input of Ic2.

Go light or you can still cause bleeding, I usually do 2 light layers, then one slightly thicker layer. A well thinned paint is optimum, but as stated before I use spray cans, and have used them effectively here. Allow to dry completely.

The device is used to bleed oil into a steam pipe for lubricating the cylinders. It usually has the appearance of a small vertical cylinder, with an adjusting screw on the top and a drain cock on the bottom.

A reduction in brake pipe pressure, regardless of how it is made (bleeding of air by use of a valve, or by a break in the train line) automatically applies the brakes. An increase of brake pipe pressure causes brake to release.

Perhaps it will weaken a unit enough so one of your heavy units can easily defeat it. Sometimes you can lose a unit to win the battle. The old term was "soaking off," or bleeding a unit and keeping it in place while you performed a strategic move ...

DON'T use shoe polish as some modelers do, because then later, when you put the ballast down using a mixture of water or alcohol and white glue, the shoe polish will run and "bleed" into the ballast, making a mess.
