Centralized Traffic Control
The dispatcher operates the CTC machine. It directly controls signals and switches along its portion of the line. The dispatcher plans moves based on indicator lights showing the positions of trains.

This entire set up used to be hand operated switches but was upgraded in the latter 90's to a control point when this portion of the railroad was equipped with Centralized Traffic Control.
