Against the Current of Traffic
Movement on Double Track within Yard Limits against the Current of Traffic is however not permitted, exept by Track Warrant, Track Bulletin or permission from Yardmaster or other authorized employee.

To get authorization to run against this established current of traffic, the CWI Dispatcher would issue train order reading something like this, "Extra MP 1627 south has right over opposing trains between 81st Street and Dolton Jct.

Double Track (DT) Two main tracks, on one of which the current of traffic is in a specified direction, and on the other in the opposite direction.
