How to Cut Plotter Vinyl
Use sharp scissors to cut plotter vinyl.
Plotter vinyl is a thin film of colored vinyl with a self-adhesive backing. The vinyl creates signage and graphics that adhere to a variety of surfaces.

Cut out the pattern. Use your craft knife and cut along the lines. If you've created other pieces with sections that will represent other walls, you have a choice.

Cut-Off
Usually quoted as a percentage, this is the point in a piston stroke at which the supply of steam to the cylinder is cut off by the closing of the valves.

To cut styrene to make substructure walls for your model building, use a metal straightedge and a scribing tool. Scribe along the line to be cut several times, and then pick up the styrene and bend it forward to snap it at the scribed line.

Cut a length of strip wood about one foot long and using the number two blades, strip it down its length. (Just roll the blade backwards and forwards moving up the length)
Now very carefully frame the windows and doorway.

The matches are cut by means of a sharp knife and fixed together using glue, often being held in place by cardboard "formers" until the glue is dry.

RAILWAYS. The term used in the USA, and possibly some other countries, for what in Britain is called a cutting.

One way to judge the height at which to cut a components leads is to place a piece of wire or a section of previous cut lead that is the same diameter as the lead to be cut flat on the surface of the circuit board.
