If marker lights are going to be installed, drill holes in side of car (if needed). Feed wires through holes from marker light bulbs to the regulator. Install marker light housings and push bulb into interior of housing.

 


Marker
A reflector flag, light, or other highly visible marking device, in the red-orange-amber color range, affixed to the rear of a train to indicate that the train is complete. Markers may be communicating or non-communicating devices.

Markers
Lamps formerly hung on the rear of the last car of the train to show that the cars are indeed a train and to indicate its status. Later substitutes were used, such as reflector paddles.

Fouling Point Marker The marked location on a track beyond which vehicle movement or storage of a rail vehicle will interfere with vehicle movement on another track.

It will be identified by a "D" marker. Division A portion of the railroad designated by timetable.

Marker Lights A US term for the front end lamps provided on many trains to denote the route or type of train. These lights were often colthe coded or arranged in special formats to distinguish between different trains.

Neither train 71 nor local 91 were displaying markers. We do not need to worry about any extras because if a conflict existed with our schedule, the dispatcher would issue an order for a meet or allow us to overtake the extra.

cut the line, take a black marker pen (felt tip) hold the fishing line in one hand and pull it between the felt tip and your thumb so as to literally mark the fishing line. do this until the line is black.

They use instead a sharp steel marker. This ensures an accurate marking. You can do this too by using your knife blade to make your marking, but not too deep or big though. However big enough to see without squinting.
