The 5-volt supply has two outputs called "+5" and "signal ground". The "signal ground" is the common return for the electronics on detectors and signal control circuits.

Water Plug The standpipe where a steam locomotive would stop to fill its tender with water. Wheel Knocker Another name for car knocker. This person would check the wheels for flaws.

Fusible plug: A threaded plug, with a soft metal core, that is screwed into the crown plate of a firebox. If the water level gets too low the core melts and the noise of the escaping steam warns the enginemen.

If a spark occurs they are out of phase so you must reverse the wall plug of one. If there is no spark they are in phase. Why did they stop making powerful transformers?

They look like a cube and plug directly into a 120VAC outlet. All that needs to be done is to cut the plug off of the wires that come out of this "black box" and figure out which one is positive and negative.

The welders would immediately cut out a 2" plug to allow the rail some room to move as it was heated. Meanwhile, the anchors would be getting knocked off in front of the heater.

In this case you have to buy the decoder separately, take off the shell of the loco and plug the decoder into the plug supplied for this within the loco.

Note that brake reservoirs are not usually provided with drain cocks as they are part of a safety system although they usually have a sealed, screwed plug for maintenance purposes.
