biga - a chariot pulled by two animals, usually horses, mules, or elephants. caduceus - a herald's staff with snakes entwined around it and sometimes with wings, the chief attribute of the Roman messenger god, Mercury; see kerykeion.

Aquillius produced a beautiful denarius with Luna driving a biga through an interesting grouping of stars. As can be seen in the photo, there is a crescent moon and 3 stars above and a lone star below the horses. A radiate Sol graces the obverse.

The inscription gives a hint to the reverse type - this is Sol, in a quadriga. Chariots with two horses are biga, three are triga, and four are quadriga. The design looks a little odd as the technique of perspective had not yet been developed.
