Challenge Coin Association (CCA) is an exonumia organization of over 200 challenge coin collectors all over the world. CCA was founded February 11, 2006 by Jesse L. Medford and is currently based in Concord, NC.
There is also the issue of "Challenge Coins" (which are actually medals by numismatic definition) which are issued by many entities within the military.
