On coins of the Flaminia, Fulvia, and Caecilia families it is seen over the sella curuilis, indicating that Curule Ediles were likewise invested with magisterial power.
The bridge is part of the Via Flaminia and spans the Tiber River a few miles north of Rome. The bridge may have originally been constructed of wood in 220 BC, but was rebuilt with stone in 109 BC.
Uncial Reduction. The Lex Flaminia or Lex Fabia, B.C. 217, fixed the minimum weight of the As at 1 ounce = 27.3 grm. = ½ of the later Roman pound of 327 grm. (or 1/10 of the old Oscan pound of 273 grm.).
