"Lead Bottom"
This is the most curious of the Bust dollar fakes on this page. Somebody was just having fun with this one. It's thick and very heavy, at 40.9g, consisting of lead alloyed with small amounts of antimony and silver.

Tin-lead & tin-copper alloys have a low melting point that is ideal for use as solder, but these alloys also have ideal characteristics for plain bearings.

Pol. (or P.) - Andrew W. Pollock III, The author of: United States Patterns and Related Issues, published in 1994 by Bowers and Merena Galleries, Inc., Box 1224, Wolfeboro, NH, 03894, 800-222-5993.

These lead tokens were found in fields of Norfolk, England and were likely used as farm work tallies in the 16th and 17th centuries, and possibly earlier.

FD-828, Lead 1 cash. Obverse: "CH'IEN-HENG CHUNG-PAO". Reverse: "YONG" probably a mint mark. 25 mm, average (7 specimens) 4.2 grams.
