Mint Error - A mis-struck or defective coin produced by a mint.
Mint Luster - The "frost" on the surface of an Uncirculated or "Mint State" coin.
Mint Set - Group of Uncirculated coins of one date, as sold by the mint in the year of issue.

The most curious of all counterfeit Bust dollars is one I haven't seen in person but have read about in Don Taxay's 1966 book Counterfeit, Mis-Struck, and Unofficial U.S.

is an off-center placement of the design on the coin when it is struck while the planchet is incorrectly aligned between the two dies in the coining press. During World War II the care of inspection was relaxed resulting in many mis-struck coins ...

Note: Same as RIC VII, 273 with different bust type. The obverse legend is misspelled - should be CONSTANTINVS. Also, the exergue mark is incorrect - should be T*AR and appears to be a deliberate P and not just a mis-struck R.
