Term used for the coinage of the branch Mint in New Orleans, Louisiana.

412 1847-O AU-53 (PCGS). Similar in quality to Lot 984 in Part II of the Bass Collection. Greenish yellow gold with a hint of orange patina. Few very light hairlines are visible.
