He was married three times; to Claudia, to Scribonia, and to Livia; but he was unhappy in his matrimonial connections, and his only daughter, Julia, by Scribonia, disgraced herself and her father by the debauchery and licentiousness of her manners.

Notes from Seaby RSC: Bonus Eventus was the god of "Good Fortune" and the divinity who favored agriculture. The reverse shows the Puteal Scribonianum which was erected in the Forum near the arch of Fabius.

A well-head, or a low curb built to surround a well or a spot which had been struck by lightning which was, in consequence, sacred. Some Republican coins show the 'Puteal Scribonianum', a particularly elegant puteal in the Roman Forum.
