Now that you have a nice bunch of flat stamps, its time to mount them. You require a stamp album for this. Stamp albums are available in the hobby shops with country names and spaces for them. These are however costly.

Let's talk about making album pages. Stamp albums are expensive at best and sometimes certain countries or topics are not available.

Printed albums vary considerably in scope, and in price, but they are excellent for the novice or the intermediate collector. Most of them are profusely illustrated and serve as guides in identification.

While almost anything will do as a stamp album when you first start collecting, if you get serious about stamp collecting you will want to do it the way the professionals do.
Album - A book for storing stamps. Most albums consist of pages preprinted with stamp images, although a stockbook with pockets to hold stamps may also be considered an album.
Block - A group of attached stamps at least two wide and two tall.
Albums, catalogs, accessories, supplies, and philatelic literature are almost as important to stamp collectors as stamps.

Worldwide albums, for the most part, are printed on both sides. As you fill stamps in, remember that stamps may interlock and touch those on the opposite page, tear at the perfs or cause the paper of the stamps to fold.

Album Marks discoloration or heavy indentations on the corners of cards from the acid leaching out of antique album pages, or from weight. Annual A publication that appears every year.
Never hinged stamps prior to that are from collectors who put stamps in glassines but never got around to hinging them in their albums, or from unsold dealers stock in glassines or stockbooks.
Sooner or later, you will want to keep your stamps in an album that doesn't require hinges. Ask at your friendly stamp shop for advice on albums that hold and display your stamps without using hinges.
Want to fill a lot of album space fast and cheap? These stamps have multiple faults and no self-respecting stamp collector would want them as permanent parts of their collection. BUT they make great space-fillers! ...
