In the example above, which is a closeup of a strip of 1996 "flag over porch" self-adhesive stamps, we can see a plate number comprising five digits, one for each color layer.

Non-Denominated Stamp (NDN) ...
Definitive issue - a stamp issued in an indefinite quantity and for an indefinite period, usually several years or more. The United States presidential issue of 1938 and the 1995 32-cent Flag over Porch stamps are examples.
Linerless Coil - self-adhesive coil stamps sold in a roll without a liner. Example: 1997 32¢ Flag over Porch stamp, Scott 3133.
