Marcophily is the ‘collecting of postmarks’. Mind you, we used to be called ‘commatologists’ because ‘commatology’ was regarded as the ‘specialised collecting of postmarks’.

Marcophily: Postmark collecting.
Margin: 1) The selvage surrounding the stamps in a sheet, often carrying inscriptions of various kinds. 2) The unprinted border area around the stamp design.
