Mission mixture - the lowest grade of stamp mixture, containing unsorted but primarily common, stamps on paper, as purchased from missions or other institutions.

Mission mixture: A low grade mixture of stamps.
Mixture: A group of stamps usually with duplicates.
Multiple: An unit of stamps which is not separated.

The term mission mixture originally meant on-paper stamps collected by churches or other charitable organizations and sold in great bulk to dealers to raise money for the charity. Such mixtures usually are heavy on definitive (regular-issue) stamps.

Mission kiloware, or mission mixtures, are kiloware produced by charitable organizations, churches, etc, whose volunteers gather used stamps and then sell them to dealers.

It generally represents clippings from the mail of banks or other businesses with extensive overseas correspondence, and thus includes a relatively high proportion of foreign stamps of high face value. See also Mission Mixture.

Mission mixture: an assortment of stamps on paper sold by the pound and usually collected by a charitable mission or institution; almost any form of bulk mixture.
