Press Sheet: A complete unit of stamps as printed. Stamps are usually printed in large sheets and are separated into two or more panes before shipment to post offices.

Prestige Booklet - a booklet containing several face different stamps, descriptive text, and illustrations. The first Prestige Booklet (Scott BK279) was issued in 2000 and honored U.S. Navy Submarines.

Uncut press sheets: large sheets of two or more panes of stamps that represent one turn, or half turn of the printing press.

There are some modern vending machine booklets that look as though they were made by hand, using press sheets from other formats cut in seemingly arbitrary ways and glued into makeshift covers.

A number of stamps of the time were presented in ungummed, imperforate press sheets to friends and dignitaries of Farley and President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

A sheet of stamps or press sheet is a unit of stamps as printed, usually on large sheets of paper based on the size of the printing plate, that are separated into panes that are sold at post offices.

Pane: units into which a press sheet is divided before sale .
Paquebot: Cancellation indicating the use of sea transport in mailing.
Par Avon: French for “By Air'.

Pane - The unit into which a full press sheet is divided before its sale.
Pane - Stamps as sold by the Post Office, typically 50 stamps.
Par Avion - French for "By Air,'' and refers to airmail.

PANE: Stamps come off the press in large sheets known as press sheets. These are cut into smaller sheets called panes, before being sent to post offices for sale to the public.
