Registration Labels: Adhesive labels indicating the registry number and, usually, city of origin for registered articles sent through the mail. In Australia, there were often ‘purpose printed’ registration labels.

 


Registration labels are etiquettes that mark a mailpiece as being registered mail. They have no franking power in and of themselves.

The WIPA 2000 folder I own says there were three special Registration labels created for WIPA 1933, a great honor at the time.
