Most Swedish coil stamps are perforated vertically or horizontally and have imperforate parallel edges. But not all Swedish stamps with imperforate parallel edges are coil stamps.

The stamp on the left side is from "Sverige", which is "Sweden" in the Swedish language. Remember that every country will print the name of their country in their own language.

One example is the most expensive Swedish Treskilling Yellow stamp. These stamps are sought after by most stamp collectors. Treskilling Yellow stamp was sold by David Feldman for 977, 500 Swiss francs.

It was acquired in 1873 by an English schoolboy who later sold it for 6/- to a fellow collector. The stamp is now valued at more than $1 million, but the Treskilling Yellow, a Swedish stamp sold for $2.5 million in 1996.
