What adapters are available?
At the moment, there are only a few micro four-thirds adapters that are easily purchased from standard photographic dealers. The adapters I used for this article are the Leica M and Canon FD ones from Cameraquest.

Adapter Ring
The adapter ring is a conversion lens adaptor that is mounted on the cover surrounding the lens. It is used in when a coversion lens cannot be mounted directly on the camera.
Adapter rings.
First of all you have to buy the appropriate physical lens adapter required to get your lens attached to your camera. For this you should consult your favourite camera shop - I can't help you here.
Adapter. Used to insert a smaller storage device into a larger slot in a computer or other device.
Additive color system. See RGB.
Aperture, maximum. The largest size of the hole though which light enters the camera.
ADAPTER RING - Also called a "Stepping ring" - enables a filter of one size to be attached to a lens of another size.
ADDITIVE COLOR - Mixing colored lights to result in another light color.
-Adapter ring - circular mount, available in several sizes, enabling accessories such as filters to be used with lenses of different diameters.

AC adapter
Some digital cameras offer an AC power option as well a battery option. AC adaptors enable the user to plug their cameras into electrical current for power, when not in the field.
Macro Adapter Lens: A lens attachment that permits a lens to focus much closer than normal.

Filter Adapter Ring Placed between a filter and the lens when attachment size differs. Filter A plastic or glass lens that fits in front of the camera lens and is used to manipulate or affect the final image.

A device that allows the use of memory cards in a PCMCIA slot. The adapter accepts the smaller memory card and transfers its connections to a standard PCMCIA connection

Power Adapters, Batteries & Chargers
Even with the incredibly long life of batteries for the D2H I still make sure to have a third battery with me (the first two are in my two cameras). With the D1X and D1H I carried a total of 4-5.
