Since the Coolpix 950 Nikon has provided an expanding range of quality add-on lenses for their higher range of Coopix digital cameras.

All housings will take add-on lenses. I tried this camera out topside recently, it was easy to use, photos looked great and I loved the large LCD. Has great potential. Housings are out from Canon, Ikelite, and Recsea.

If you need a compact camera that can deliver DSLR quality and/or performance, check out The best system compact digital cameras right now! These cameras offer advanced controls as well as add-on lens and flash attachments.

Some lower cost digital cameras can be fitted with add-on lenses that increase their angle of view. In 35mm cameras, a 50mm lens is said to give an angle of view similar to the human eye, though many people dispute this.
